PocketBase Cloud MCP

Let your AI assistant run your PocketBase.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code to PocketBase Cloud. Your assistant can then manage projects, PocketBase instances, deploys, domains and data. You sign in once and choose read-only or read and write access.

https://mcp.pocketbasecloud.com/mcp

Connect

One URL, every assistant.

The server speaks MCP over HTTP with OAuth sign-in. Pick your assistant and follow its steps, then sign in when it asks.

  1. 01In claude.ai or Claude Desktop, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. 02Name it PocketBase Cloud and paste the server URL.
  3. 03Click Connect, sign in, then choose the access and the project.
Access

Narrow what it can touch.

Add options to the server URL. They can narrow what you approved when signing in, never widen it.

  • Read-only?read_only=true

Expose only the tools that read.

  • One project?project_ref=<project id>

Limit every tool to a single project.

  • Tool groups?features=account,resources,deploy,domains,database,docs,env

Choose which groups of tools the assistant sees.

Tools

What can your assistant do?

52 tools in 8 groups. Environment variables and database admin are opt-in: add them to features to turn them on.

Safety and data

You stay in control.

  • Approval for destructive tools

Tools that delete or restore ask for your approval first.

  • System data is off limits

Database tools reach your instance through PocketBase Cloud. System collections and instance settings are never touched.

  • Revoke any time

Signing in stores an encrypted OAuth grant on Cloudflare. Disconnect the app in your assistant to end it.

  • Nothing kept from your instances

The server never stores records, files or logs. It passes them to your assistant and forgets them. Tool calls are counted by name, outcome and duration, without your identity or what you asked.
