Pro’s dedicated compute — a 2 vCPU / 4GB server that’s yours alone, not a shared cluster — has always run in seven locations, weighted toward Europe:

Why this matters

If your users are in Tokyo, Mumbai, or anywhere in the US, your dedicated compute can now sit in the same region as them instead of the nearest European or Asia-Pacific city that happened to be on the list. Less network distance between your users and your PocketBase instance means faster responses on every request — the kind of improvement you feel without ever thinking about it.

What to expect when picking one of the five new regions

Checkout, the plan page, and pbc locations treat all twelve the same way — there’s nothing to configure differently. The one thing worth knowing: the five new regions may take a little longer to come online than the original seven, since each one is set up individually rather than instantly. If that ever happens on your account, you’ll see it reflected in your compute’s status; everything else about deploying to it works exactly the same once it’s ready.
